We Might Be Alright
Out April 16 via Rude Records
Brisbane, AUS – Brisbane’s Waxflower today unveil “Food For Your Garden,” the final single from their upcoming EP We Might Be Alright, out Friday, April 16th through Rude Records. The single earlier this week on triple j’s Home & Hosed.
“Food For Your Garden” details the experience of accepting how relationships may change, while valuing the lessons learned with those changes.
“It’s about running from your past and avoiding personal change by trying to find it in another,” reveals frontman Tristan Higginson. “Regardless of how a relationship ends, you learn from it, you live with it and so do they. Sometimes you aren’t meant to be in someone’s life, and that’s fine. You may as well let your time together be the fertiliser that helps you grow.”
The arrival of “Food For Your Garden” follows previous singles “Not Alone” and “Again,” which garnered support from the likes of Australia’s triple j and triple j Unearthed, Kerrang!, Alt Corner, Happy Mag, Hysteria, Rock Sound, Upset, Dead Press, Upset, idobi Radio, and more. The band also received additions to Spotify's New Punk Tracks, Pop Punk's Not Dead, as well as Apple Music's New In Alternative, New In Rock, Rise And Grind, and Amazon's Fresh Rock.
