August 20th, 2021  -  Rochester, NY  - Metal act A FITTING REVENGE has released their brand new single titled The Freeze, today via Curtain Call Records. The Freeze, the Rochester band's follow-up to their monstrous Spring release The Collapse, is six full minutes of chest-pounding, heart-racing, heavy metal madness. Although currently assembled as a trio, they are actively in search of a second guitarist. You can stream A FITTING REVENGE's brand new single, The Freeze, right HERE.

Aaron Smith, drummer for A FITTING REVENGE, had the following to say about the recording process for The Freeze:

"This was the most challenging song for me, technically, that we've ever done. There are two specific parts that took over a month each to get down. One was more of a mental challenge while the other was purely a physical challenge. The time and effort paid off."

Breaking onto the metal scene on April Fool's Day of 2012, A FITTING REVENGE is an aggressive jab to the cranium of heavy metal that leaves a mark. Rooted with consistent creativity, and deeply motivated in their one focus, A FITTING REVENGE are bringing their filthy and outright heavy metal music to the masses. Hailing from Rochester, NY, A FITTING REVENGE is quickly turning the metal world upside down with their unique mix of heavy rock and metal.

After releasing two EPs in 2013 and 2014 under the name AFR, then in 2017 releasing their LP Tempus Fugit under their current name A FITTING REVENGE, the trio is anxious to release their first full-length album with their current label Curtain Call Records later this year titled Omnipresence. Traversing through 2021 after a year of canceled shows, A FITTING REVENGE is eager to hit the stages across the country. You can be sure to catch them upcoming at this year's Metal in the Mountains, held August 26-29 in Pipestem, WV.
