Crazy to think we are half way through 2025 already, and of course there are so many great songs to go along with it! Here is our personal TOP 30 for the year (so far):
1. BADFLOWER- LONDON off the new album "No Place Like Home" that dropped last month, just one of the many singles on this banger of an album. Possibly an album of the year? Get yourself a copy here.
2. STAND ATLANTIC- I'M THE MAN 'WAS HERE (DELUXE)' out May 16, 2025 via Hopeless Records
3. HARDY- JIM BOB off his 2024 release "Quit"
#4 & #5 both go to WINONA FIGHTER, who put out their debut album this past winter, "My Apologies To The Chef" and this one is for sure in our TOP ALBUMS OF THE YEAR.
6 Giovannie and the Hired Guns - "Quitter" which dropped in March!
7 Dinosaur Pile-Up MY WAY Full album 𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝑭𝒆𝒍𝒕 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 out on August 22
8: AVRIL LAVIGNE- YOUNG & DUMB feat Simple Plan, just in time for her massive summer greatest hits tour!
9: THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA- FOR YOU. This band hits you right in the feels every time.
10. It's a new Chapter for I PREVAIL without frontman Brian Burkheiser but they are back and heavier than ever with this new track: "Violent Nature"
11. Green Day are still riding the wave from 2024's release "Saviors" just releasing a Saviors (édition de luxe) last month that you can snag here
12. We don't know much about up-and-comers THE DOLLHEADS, but they got our attention when they dropped this one on FAT WRECK CHORDS with a feature from Fat Mike himself!
13. NEW MEDICINE have been at this grind for 15+ years putting out banger after banger like this one- Know Somebody
14. Back from hiatus- THE SUMMER SET! Just in time for Warped Tour, they have also been teasing a new album "Meet Me at the record shop" that will be dropping later in the year.
15. City Of The Weak always has such a FUCK YOU attitude that we can't help but love- and this new single is no exception. STFAFM!
16. Hailing from South Florida, The Haunt is an alt-rock band led by a sister and brother duo. Like what you hear? New album "New Addiction" drops at the end of the month.
17. and we are back to Dinosaur Pile-Up, this was their first new song in 5 years, 'Bout To Lose It. Full album 𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝑭𝒆𝒍𝒕 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 out on August 22
18. Such a queen- Lauren Babic. Her new solo EP "Too Much and Never Enough" is out now.
19. Fun Fact: Not Enough Space dropped by the Den randomly last fall! We have been diggin' #moancore and can't wait to see what else they do in the future.
20. Hailing from the UK, we have HOT MILK, who just dropped their sophomore album, "Corporation P.O.P."
21. Silverstein is always on the gas pedal, the latest “Drain The Blood” ft. Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker is from the forthcoming album ‘Pink Moon’ out Sept 12.
22. Fit For A King are back and just as heavy as ever. With a new album on the way there's hell to pay.
23. Games We Play- If I'm Honest is a straight-up banger from an overly honest band. We are here for it!
24. A Day To Remember has gotten a ton of hate the past couple of years with their more "radio-friendly" sound but Big Ole Album Vol. 1 dropped out of nowhere and took everyone by surprise with what many quote as their best release in years.
25. Shinedown- Dance, Kid, Dance. Catchy AF, but reminds us a bit of a PG version the Offsprings "You're Gonna Go Far Kid"
26. Recently signing with Sumerian Records- The Pretty Wild puts us all in a chokehold with sLeepwALKeR.
27. Linkin Park had some massive shoes to fill coming back into the spotlight. Despite all the controversy, we think newfound frontwoman Emily has done an excellent job bringing LP "up from the bottom" and delivering a deluxe album.
28. PRESIDENT is fearless. This band has so much yet to be discovered.
29. STICK TO YOUR GUNS grabbed us right at the heart strings with "Keep Planting Flowers" which is the title track off their latest album that dropped in January.
30. HALESTORM is a force. Coming up on their sixth studio album, "Darkness always wins" is our first taste of Everest, which drops August 8th
